Mir geht es sehr gut und ich habe alles was ich brauche. Das kann nicht jeder von sich behaupten. Insbesondere in der heutigen Zeit, wo diverse Kriege den Menschen das Leben schwer machen. Deshalb bitte ich euch, mir keine Geschenke mitzubringen. Stattdessen bitte ich euch, eine Spende an das Internationale Kommittee des Roten Kreuz (IKRK) zu machen (mein Arbeitgeber 2005/2006). Dies könnt ihr entweder selber und direkt über die IKRK-Website machen oder ihr könnt etwas in das bereitgestellte Kässeli legen. Dann überweise ich den gesammelten Betrag schlussendlich ans IKRK.

I’m doing very well and have everything I need—something not everyone can say, especially in today’s world, where various wars make life difficult for many. Therefore, I kindly ask you not to bring any gifts. Instead, I would be grateful if you could make a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where I worked in 2005/2006. You can do this either directly via the ICRC website or by placing a contribution in the collection box provided. I will then transfer the total amount to the ICRC.
